Transforming Futures with Work-based Learning

Are you familiar with someone who could have benefitted from exploring a career before deciding on their post-high school plans?

In today’s landscape of rising college costs, mental health challenges, and the lingering effects of the pandemic, young people are encountering unprecedented obstacles to succeed. Graduates are not only grappling with staggering levels of debt but also facing a scarcity of job opportunities, leading to a multi-generational crisis. The traditional college-for-all paradigm overlooks the critical aspect of career readiness, leaving many talented students on the sidelines. As high school graduation and college attendance rates remain benchmarks of success, more students find themselves falling behind, dropping out, or slipping through the cracks.

Join the Solution: Work-based Learning with GPS Ed

For over two decades, GPS Education Partners (GPS Ed) has been at the forefront of pioneering work-based learning initiatives. Our scalable programs are meticulously designed to address the skills gap and empower students to make informed career decisions while honing essential durable skills.

Now, we’re calling on your support to implement work-based learning solutions that have both local and national impact, bridging the gap between education and industry needs.

Impact Lives with GPS Ed

Since our inception in 2000, GPS Ed has graduated nearly 1,200 students and partnered with hundreds of businesses and school districts through our Education Center & Youth Apprenticeship Program. Now our reach extends beyond Wisconsin, impacting thousands more students across the midwest and beyond. Through our work-based learning programs, we’ve witnessed transformative changes in the lives of students and their communities, providing immediate employment opportunities and fostering empowerment.
