The state of Wisconsin has declared October as manufacturing month so shout out to all of our manufacturers and thank you for providing a pathway to a technical career for our youth! Here are a few ideas on how you can celebrate:
- Hold a virtual event highlighting manufacturing jobs for students and parents
- Make a point to do business outreach to manufacturing companies in your area that are not participating in YA
- Hold a virtual event featuring women in manufacturing
- Highlight a student that has achieved success YA through manufacturing (ensure written consent by student/parent/guardian)
- Highlight an employer that has achieved success through YA in manufacturing (ensure written consent by employer)
