Wisconsin Manufacturing Youth Apprenticeship Program

Our application process

We accept applications year-round! Our youth apprenticeship program is open to high school juniors and seniors. To experience the full program, we recommend applying in the spring of your sophomore year to enroll as a junior. We are also happy to explore spring junior enrollment or senior year enrollment options with you.

Once your application form has been submitted, fill out the records release form with your parent/guardian as instructed on the confirmation page. We’ll need this form to request records from your school and process your application.

Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 Enrollment – OPEN

Our Fall enrollment is open to students entering their Junior or Senior year in the 2023 fall term. Applications will be considered on a first-come-first-served basis. Our Fall term begins in August.

Our Spring enrollment is only open to Juniors. Our Spring term begins in late January 2024.

Once GPS Education Partners receives your high school records, we will call/email to set up an interview.

Students accepted are required to bring parents to attend registration and orientation.

*Any program and consumable fees due at registration

Final steps

You just applied. What happens next? After we’ve received a completed application, with records from your high school, we’ll review your materials. If offered an interview, you and your parent will meet GPSEd staff for a 30-minute long conversation. After the interview, final admittance decisions will be emailed out within 2 weeks. If you accept the offer, you and your parents will be required to participate in registration/orientation.
